Siegel band to hold annual fundraiser

The Siegel High School Band holds its 10th annual Pancake Breakfast and Silent Auction from 8 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, in the high school cafeteria in Murfreesboro.

Everyone who attends can enter the drawing to win tickets to the Tennessee and Indianapolis game. Breakfast tickets will be available at the door for $5 for adults and $3 for children under 5.  

After breakfast, stay and bid to win one of more than 200 unique items offered in the silent auction.

Along with the Titans tickets, the auction includes University of Tennessee football tickets, tickets to the Nashville Symphony Orchestra, local business gift cards, sports collectibles and fine jewelry.

The Titans tickets winner must be present to win will be drawn at 10:15 a.m. and the silent auction will end promptly at 10:30 a.m.

This is the annual fundraiser for the award-winning band. Siegel is proud to be the 2009, 2010 and 2011 Contest of Champions Grand Champion and the holder of the Tennessee Governor's Cup.  

Funds earned from this event are used to defray the costs to purchase music, instruments and color guard equipment as well as assist with travel costs to contests and other expenses throughout the fall season.
