Bob Parks Realty, LLC, has reorganized its management team with Sharon Langford assuming the position of chief executive officer.

Chief Financial Officer Jenni Barnett has acquired the additional duties of chief operating officer, and Bud George is taking the new position of vice president for professional development.

In addition the managing brokers of each office have become employees of the company and will be full-time managers, as opposed to the business models of most real estate companies in which the managing brokers are among the top producers and compete with the agents under them.

"We are reorganizing the company to better meet the rapidly changing needs of the consumers," said Bob Parks, owner of the company. "We are very fortunate to already have excellent people on the staff who can assume these vital positions."

Langford has served as general manager of Bob Parks Realty and was previously the managing broker of Sharon Langford and Associates (a company acquired by Bob Parks Realty in 1999 which officially changed its name in March 2005 to Bob Parks Realty).

Barnett, who has served as chief financial officer for Bob Parks Realty since 2000, holds a bachelors of administration in accounting from MTSU.

George became a Realtor in 1997 and holds a BBA degree in economics and finance from the University of Tennessee at Martin and a masters degree in education from Southwestern Seminary in Texas. George, a native of the Middle Tennessee area, is devoted to coaching and teaching and will spend all of his time providing learning and development opportunities for Bob Parks Realty agents, staff and managers.

Langford is committed to education and served as education consultant to the Tennessee Real Estate Commission from 1979-1995. She was a charter member of the Real Estate Educators Association and the Association of Tennessee Real Estate Educators and received the "William C. Tune Award for Excellence in Education" in 1998. She has served as president of the Association of Tennessee Real Estate Educators and the Tennessee Real Estate Educational Foundation.

Langford is a member of the Williamson County Association of Realtors, Tennessee Association of Realtors, Greater Nashville Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, and Realtors National Marketing Institute.

Langford donates her time and financial resources to organizations and charities that focus on children and animals with special needs. She has rescued and adopted six dogs and volunteers for numerous animal organizations.
