Sharon K. George, age 72, of Murfreesboro, passed away on Jan. 27, 2013, at Middle Tennessee Medical Center.

She was the daughter of the late Margaret Lucille Myers Yingling and the late Forrest John Yingling; mother of David Lloyd (Barbara) George and the late Forrest Shawn George; grandmother of Misti Dawn (Joshua) Mosser, Tiffany Marie George, and Shawn Michael George; great grandmother of Caleb, Logan, and Peyton Mosser; sister of Theodore (Cheryl) Bennett.
 
Sharon was a native of Augusta, Ili., but lived most of her life in Baytown, Texas. She had resided in Murfreesboro for the past two years. Sharon was retired from Verizon Communications (formerly GTE).
 
A Memorial service will be held at Jennings and Ayers Chapel on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation with the family will be from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home, 820 South Church St., Murfreesboro, TN 37130, 615-893-2422.

Sharon was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Nashville, and will be interred in the church Columbarium.
