Seminar: How to do business with fed government



How can you become one of the federal government's suppliers? Attend this seminar that covers the basics of government contracting.

Some of the topics include: How to market to the federal government, how to find government business opportunities, information regarding federal codes, how to find information on the Internet related to government contracting, and understanding the government contracting process.

The presenter is Paul Middlebrooks, marketing consultant, UT Procurement Technical Assistance Center. The seminar is sponsored by the Small Business Development Center, in cooperation with the U.S. Small Business Administration and the University of Tennessee Procurement Technical Assistance Center. The Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) helps Tennessee companies find bid opportunities, understand government contracting processes, meet quality control standards and bid successfully in the government marketplace.

The seminar will be held at the Chamber of Commerce Building located at 501 Memorial Blvd., Murfreesboro, TN on Jan. 13, 2010, from 9 a.m.-12:00 p.m. There is no charge for this seminar. Seating is limited.
