Catherine Stephens, principal of Scales Elementary, Michael Hughes, design engineer at SEC Inc., Larry Willeford, Murfreesboro City Schools supervisor of maintenance, Cindy Browning, Scales 5th-grade teacher, Andrea Cain, Murfreesboro City Schools supervisor of coordinated school health, and Browning's 5th-grade class, pose during the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the quarter mile walking track that will be located on the front lawn of Scales Elementary School.

The track was designed by Browning's class and will be in the shape of the state of Tennessee. The walking track has been funded through a grant from the Office of Coordinated School Health. Inc.
