On Saturday, Sept. 12 from 4 – 6 p.m. Sassy VEG Productions will kick off their Fall series of vegan cooking classes with an encore presentation of the “Joy of Soy” at The Discovery Center, 502 SE Broad St., Murfreesboro.

This class is also part of the five classes for the price of four special that the group is offering to individuals who wish to participate in all the remaining classes for the year.

The entire Fall series – which includes classes on Sept. 12 & 26, Oct. 10 & 24, and concludes on Nov. 7 – will cover everything from the use of soy and beans and grains, to party fare and holiday meals. Participants in each class will be treated to a tasting meal of all the recipes prepare in the class, as well as packets of information that include all the recipes, ingredient information, and additional information on health-related topics. “Our Fall series of classes is designed to show how easy and economical it is to eat healthy meals all year through – that just because Summer’s over, and we’re gearing up for the holiday season, doesn’t mean you can’t celebrate with your family and friends and all enjoy delicious vegan and vegetarian food,” states Sharon Jacks, Founding Partner and Lead Instructor for Sassy VEG Productions. “We’re also excited to offer the five for four class special as a way to treat those individuals who want to attend all the classes.”

All Sassy VEG Production classes are limited to 20 people and tuition is pre-paid. Those who are interested in the five for four class special need to send a check (by September 8th) for their entire tuition of $140, made payable to Christy Neese, to: 7615 Greenway Drive /Murfreesboro, TN 37130. Those individuals who wish to only attend the “Joy of Soy” should send a check (also by September 8th) for $35 to Christy to the same address as well.
