Sara Webb Elliott, age 88, of Murfreesboro, passed away Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Christian Care of Rutherford.

Mrs. Elliott was born in Smyrna to the late Charlie Ferman Webb and Elizabeth Rachel Ross Webb. She was a member of Zion Hill Baptist and a homemaker. She was a Smyrna High School graduate.

Mrs. Elliott was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eddie Elliott; son, Claude Elliott; brothers, Wallace, Charles, George (Jean) and William Webb. She is survived by her children; James (Rosemary) Elliott of Cincinnati, OH, Charlie (Karen) Elliott of Murfreesboro, David (Nellie) Elliott of Morganton, NC and Faye (Wayne) Buff of Marion, NC; seven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren; sister, Vera Coleman of Woodbury; sisters in law, Bonnie Webb of Antioch and Margie Webb of Shelbyville; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, October 30, 2012 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at 11:00 am at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Bro. Kevin Barrett officiating. Burial to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
