Samuel Dayton Potts, age 49 of Murfreesboro, passed away Thursday July 26, 2007 at his residence.

A native and life long resident of Rutherford County, he was a former employee of Glenco.

Mr. Potts was preceded in death by his mother, Alice Doris Parker Potts. He is survived by his father, Hollis Dayton Potts of Rockvale; daughter, Tiffany Potts of Portland, Oregon; brothers, David B. Potts of Rockvale, Carey J. Potts of Ky. and Wendell C. Potts of Murfreesboro; sisters, Wanda Johns of Lascassas, Pamela Burns and Paula Riley both of Murfreesboro.

A memorial service for Mr. Potts will be 6 p.m. Thursday, July 2, 2007 at Jennings and Ayers Chapel with Arlon Way officiating.
