SAE Institute honors student killed in 2010 floods

SAE Institute Nashville will be accepting applications for its second annual scholarship to honor the memory of former SAE Institute student, Dan Brown.

The aspiring musician and engineer student was tragically killed in the Nashville floods in 2010. In his name, his alma mater is offering a full one-year scholarship to a deserving student. All prospective students must apply by their strict deadline of Thursday, Sept. 1. 
 
The Dan Brown Memorial Scholarship is open to all high school graduates with plans to attend SAE Institute Nashville’s Audio Technology Program. 

The scholarship eligibility requirements are both need and merit based. One prospective student will be chosen to receive an award that covers all tuition costs associated with the program.  

The scholarship covers coursework applied towards an accredited audio technology diploma.
