MTSU Campus Recreation will hold a Homecoming 5K Run on Sunday, Sept. 25.

The run is available to walkers and runners of any level and will begin at 8 a.m. on the cross walk in front of the MTSU Student Health, Wellness and Recreation Center, 1848 Blue Raider Drive.
 
Registration through Sept. 23 is $25, and the day of the event is $30. The first 200 people to register will receive a free T-shirt.
 
Soles4Souls will be on site to take any new and gently used shoes or donations. Most any shoes from tennis shoes to cleats, dress shoes and old prom shoes will be accepted. Shoes that are moldy cannot be accepted.
 
Soles4Souls has committed to collect and distribute shoes to people living in extreme poverty and recovering from natural disasters. People and companies interested in donating can visit the organization’s website at www.giveshoes.org.
