The Rutherford County Democratic Party selected four candidates Saturday for the August County Election.

Sheriff Truman Jones, Register of Deeds Jennifer Gerhart, Circuit Court Clerk Eloise Gaither, and County Clerk candidate Lisa Harrell all won their respective nominations.

"The Democratic Party of Rutherford County continues its legacy of experience and equality with the nomination of these four candidates," Party Chairman Jonathon Fagan said.
