Ronald Lee, age 82, of Murfreesboro, passed away on October 17, 2012 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. He was a native of Detroit, Michigan but resided in Rutherford County. Ronald was a painter and served in the United States Marines.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents; Ray and Edna Mount Lee; sons, Jerry Smith and Robert Smith. He is survived by his wife, Verna Sue Crews Lee of Murfreesboro; sons, Edward Lee of Shelbyville and William Lee of Illinois; daughter, Chris Vaughn of Murfreesboro; nine grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Chapel service will be held at Jennings and Ayers Chapel on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Russell Richardson officiating. Burial will follow at Coleman Cemetery with family and friends serving as active pallbearers.
