Ronald David Bell, age 71, of Murfreesboro, died Tuesday, March 5, 2013.

He was a native of Rutherford County and the son of the late Howard and Carmine David Bell. He was also preceded in death by a brother, John Douglas Bell.

Visitation will be from 1-2 pm Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Graveside service 3 pm Thursday at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

He is survived by his brother, Bill Bell and wife Marilyn, sister, Betty Miller and husband Ebby, both of Murfreesboro, nieces and nephews, Kay Halliburton, Bonnie Bell, Jacque Childers and husband Scott, Ken Halliburton and wife Lisa, great nieces, Taylor Halliburton, Madison and Milbrey Childers, great nephews, Reid Halliburton, Chase Pendergast and Mason Childers.

Mr. Bell was retired from Samsonite. He was an excellent cook, passionate gardner, and enjoyed anytime he could spend fishing.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Hord, Earnest “Bud” Ghee, Cliff Ghee, Thomas Brandon, Ken Halliburton, Scott Childers, Chase Pendergast, and Reid Halliburton. Honorary pallbearer will be Bubba Hord.
