Calf roping, steer wrestling and barrel racing will be some of the events featured at the 5th annual Lone Star World Championship Rodeo at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Miller Coliseum on Thompson Lane.
The rodeo is a fundraising event for the Rutherford County School Resource Officers, who are selling advance tickets at $10 for adults and $8 for children from age 4 to 12. Children under age 3 are free. Tickets at the door are $15 for adults and $10 for children.
Partners are the Tennessee National Guard and Lanes, Trains and Automobiles Entertainment Depot.
Tickets are also available at the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office on Salem Pike and at Alexander Ford, Chevrolet and Toyota.
