A native of Christiana she was the daughter of the late Ephriam Frank and Mary Lou Hendrickson Hoover. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Sarah Hoover Haynes.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 3 p.m. with Brother Bob Tuttle and Reverend Debbie Church officiating. Burial will follow in Milton Cemetery.

Mrs. Lawrence is survived by her husband of 57 years, Thomas Granville Lawrence; daughter, Diana Lawrence Busey; sister, Mary Norman O’Brien; several nieces and nephews; and her granddog, Cheyanne.

Mrs. Lawrence held a very strong Christian faith and was a member of Farris Chapel United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker, a wonderful cook, loved her garden and growing flowers.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Farris Chapel United Methodist Church.

Visitation with the family will be from 1 p.m. until service time at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
