Additional charges were filed against a suspect accused of robbing a second convenience store last month, a sheriff’s detective reported.
Suspect Leslie J. Fetter was charged Monday with aggravated robbery of Midland Market after sheriff’s deputies apprehended him and co-defendant Mary Reynolds moments after the crime, Detective Steve Kohler reported.
Kohler and Detective Scott Tillman questioned Fetter Tuesday about a robbery at Citgo Family Market Aug. 28 on state Route 99 (New Salem Highway) in Rockvale.
“Fetter admitted doing this one also,” Kohler reported.
Tillman charged Fetter with an additional count of aggravated robbery and theft over $1,000.
Tillman tried to talk with Reynolds but she declined.
Both Reynolds and Fetter are being held on $100,000 bond at Rutherford County Adult Detention Center. A hearing on the Rockvale robbery is set Oct. 14 in General Sessions Court.
