A woman robber dropped a box she described as bomb into a pharmacy window and demanded all of the money in the cash register Monday on Old Fort Parkway, Murfreesboro Police reported.

CVS pharmacy technician Earl Crow laughed when he read the note from the robber stating the box was a bomb and she wanted all the money in the cash register, Officer Sean Garrison reported.

The robber told Crow it was not a joke and held up an object that resembled an ink pen.

Crow gave her an undisclosed amount of cash, the officer reported. She retrieved the box and note and drove away.

She was described as a white woman about 45 to 55 years old. She was slender and wore sunglasses, a gray and blue toboggan and a thick jacket. She drove a dark green, new Jeep Liberty.

People who have information about the robber may call the Criminal Investigations Division at 893-2717 or Crime Stoppers between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at 893-STOP.

Let me see if I have this straight. She dropped a box (alleged bomb) into the drive-thru window, the tech laughed at her, she pointed an ink pen at him, he gave her $$$, and she takes the note and box (alleged bomb) back, and leaves. We're supposed to believe that story? Why didn't someone get the license plate # of the vehicle? It would take a few minutes for all this to occur so there should have been plenty of time to at least get that info.
