| The following road projects will affect traffic in Murfreesboro during the week of Oct. 6-10:
- All week from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Rutherford Boulevard north of the new CSX bridge will be paved. This project will see some temporary lane closures.
- Rutherford Boulevard between Halls Hill Pike (Greenland Drive) and MTSU Boulevard will be paved and striped from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.
- The intersection of Sulphur Springs Road and Seigel Road will be reduced to one lane for water line and sewer work, as well as the construction of a turn lane from Monday-Friday. Flagmen will direct traffic. This is part of the Battleground Road extension project.
- From 9 a.m.-3 p.m. this week, work will be conducted on Gresham Lane at Old Fort Parkway for a widening project. No lane closures are expected but workers will be on the shoulder.
- Traffic is still detoured from Florence Road onto Chippendale and Tricia Place, so the road can be cut down as part of a widening project.
