Oakland and Riverdale came away with wins in the District 7AAA Basketball Tournament, which concluded Monday night.

The tournament's top three are Riverdale, Blackman and Oakland, in that order

Oakland 70, Smyrna 58 for third place District 7AAA

For Smyrna, Savannah McIntyre had 16, Kayla Hunt 14, Treasure Hunt 12

For Oakland, Shelby Gibson had 23, Emily Eubank 21, Kaitlin Oliver 15

Columbia 47, Franklin Co. 36 – championship game, District 8AAA

Smyrna will go to Columbia Friday night Feb. 22 and Oakland will travel to Franklin County

Riverdale 68, Blackman 58 – championship game District 7AAA

For Blackman, Alex Johnson and Crystal Dangerfield had 19 each and Jazz Bond had 10.

For Riverdale, Alexa Middleton had 25, Tyisha Petty 18, Olivia Jones 10.

Lincoln Co. girls 45, Shelbyville 44 for third place in District 8AAA.

Riverdale will host Shelbyville on Friday, Feb. 22 and Blackman will host Lincoln County the same night. Both games have 7 p.m. starts.
