The Riverdale FFA Chapter was recognized as the Regional Grand Champion FFA Program at the Middle Tennessee FFA Awards Banquet on April 22 at MTSU.
Each year 92 total FFA chapters in Middle Tennessee compete for the coveted Middle Region FFA Awards. Superior recognition is given to the top three agriculture programs with the best overall performance throughout the year in Career Development Events, Supervised Agriculture Experiences, leadership activities, fairs, conferences, competitions and more.
This awards program helps recognize Middle Tennessee FFA members and their outstanding chapters as they fulfill the FFA Mission of developing premier leadership, personal growth, and career success. A year’s work of studying, practicing, planning, and competing has earned Riverdale FFA this top honor for the first time in school history.
Riverdale was awarded the Regional Runner-Up Grand Champion award in 2013 and has earned the district title for all Rutherford County Programs consecutively since 2010.
