Riverdale High School's girls basketball state championship game will be rebroadcast at noon Saturday on WNPT-TV Nashville Channel 8.

PlayOn! Sports apologized that the Division I, Class AAA Girls Basketball game between Riverdale High School and Science Hill High School was not broadcast live Saturday as scheduled across the seven Tennessee Public Television stations.

The satellite truck contracted for the game experienced technical difficulties that inhibited the television broadcast from being delivered to the stations.

The issue was resolved toward the conclusion of the game, allowing the other two girls Division I championship games to air live on the TPTC stations as scheduled.

"I regret that this technical issue compromised the broadcast. We at PlayOn! Sports are committed to bringing fans high quality broadcasts of Tennessee high school sports and look forward to continuing to do so this weekend with the Division I Boys BlueCross Basketball Championships," said David Rudolph, PlayOn! Sports CEO.

The boys games will air on the Tennessee Public Television Council stations listed below beginning at 2 p.m.

All of the TSSAA BlueCross Basketball Championship games, including the Riverdale vs. Science Hill girls game, are also available for free on demand at the TSSAA Network: tssaa.playonsports.com. Live viewing requires a subscription.

If fans purchased a Daily Subscription Pass in order to view the Riverdale vs. Science Hill game, PlayOn! Sports is issuing full refunds for that game. Please call 1-800-694-944 for more information on receiving a refund.
