The 2012 Rick Stockstill Football Camp dates have been set and this year’s slate offers a variety of opportunities.
The camp will be directed by Middle Tennessee head coach Rick Stockstill. The Blue Raiders have been to three bowl games, won two conference titles, and had a league-best 17 national broadcasts during his tenure.
Camps are slated to begin on May 27 with the first of six Elite Camps. There will also be Elite Camps on June 2, June 3, June 10, July 21 and July 22.
The annual Youth Camp for rising first through eighth graders will be held May 29 through June 1.
On June 8 there will be a Friday Night Lights Skill Camp for rising juniors and seniors. The camp will be position specific for quarterbacks, wide receivers, running backs, and defensive backs.
The following day on June 9, Stockstill will host a Big Man and Kicking Camp for rising juniors and seniors. This camp will be position specific for tight ends, offensive linemen, linebackers, defensive linemen, kickers, punters, and long snappers.
The always popular 7-on-7 Passing Tournament is set for July 14 for any high school team.
