Richard E. Johnson, 42, of Murfreesboro, passed away June 18, 2012 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Mr. Johnson was born in Danville, IL to the late Russell Eugene Johnson and Deanna Miller Johnson. He was a member of First Assembly of God in Danville, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Johnson; brothers, Russell (Martha) Johnson of Hillsboro, IL, Ronald (Shirley) Johnson of Chrisman, IL, Randall (Linda) Johnson of Danville, IL and Roy (Heidi) Johnson of Hillsboro, IL; sister, Risa (Michael) Langdon of Hartsville, SC; 23 nieces and nephews; many aunts and uncles.

Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, June 20, 2012 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Thursday, June 21, 2012 at 11:00 am at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Pastor Ralph Springer officiating. Burial will be at Carlton Cemetery.
