Reward offered for La Vergne arson information

A $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of anyone responsible for intentionally setting fire to Specialty Arms II on Dec. 25 in La Vergne.

The fire has been determined as arson, following a fire scene examination by multiple law enforcement agencies and other investigative efforts, according to a press release from the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

The ATF’s Nashville Field Division and Tennessee State Bomb and Arson Section, as well as the La Vergne Police Department, are conducting the investigation.

Anyone with information should contact the ATF at 615-565-1410 or the Tennessee Arson Hotline at 1-800-762-3017. All callers' identities will be kept confidential and remain anonymous.
