Rutherford County residents in the 62nd House District have until 4:30 p.m. today to register to vote in the Oct. 13 special election.
Republican businessman Pat Marsh, Democrat Ty Cobb Jr. and the independent Chris Brown will fight for the seat.
Early voting starts next week for the special election to fill the vacant Tennessee House of Representatives 62nd district seat previously held by Curt Cobb.
The election will be held only in the following precincts: Blackman United Methodist Church, Eagleville Community Center and Rockvale Community Center.
Early Voting will be held from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday, Sept 23-Oct. 8 and from 8 a.m.-noon Saturday, Oct. 3 at the Rutherford County Election Commission office, No. 1 Public Square South Suite 103.
Extended hours will held from 8 a.m. -7 p.m. Monday, Sept 28, Thursday, Oct. 1 and Monday, Oct. 5.
