Rebecca Ann Hutchins, age 67, of Murfreesboro, passed away on October 26, 2012 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center.

She was a native and lifelong resident of Rutherford County and attended Taylors Chapel Baptist Church. She was a homemaker.

Ann was preceded in death by her father; Haskell Smoot Barrett, Sr.; husband, Robert Wilson Hutchins, Sr. and brother, Junior Barrett. She is survived by her mother, Annie Mai Harvey Barrett of Lascassas; sons, Bubba Hutchins (Diana Hoover) of Murfreesboro and Michael Brad Hutchins of Murfreesboro; daughter, Annie Marie Cook (Frederick Smith) of Murfreesboro; brothers, James Edward (Peggy) Barrett of Christiana, Charles Wayne (Connie) Barrett of Milton and Ricky Steve (Shirley) Barrett of Smyrna; sisters, Deanna Arlene (Charlie) Leyhew of Murfreesboro and Bonnie Louise (Ray) Spray of Lascassas; three grandchildren, Katlyn Hope Hutchins, Punkin Richmond and April Ann Barnett; six great-grandchildren and her cat, Oreo.

Graveside service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery on Monday, October 29, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with Jason Barrett officiating. Burial will follow at with nephews serving as active pallbearers.
