Greenhouse Ministries invites the community to join in the next backyard event, Reading Rocks. 

This free event, held Saturday, June 11 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., will feature Amy Parker, local author of children’s books. 

The Linebaugh Library book mobile will be on-hand to check out library books and distribute library cards. 

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library will be available to enroll children in the Books from Birth program. 

Children will also be able to participate in crafts, games, prizes, reading circles, as well as enjoy a free lunch.

Reading Rocks will be held in the backyard behind Greenhouse Ministries. The event is free to all.

Greenhouse Ministries is a human services agency that seeks to plant “HOPE in the ‘Boro” by offering assistance with adult education, food, furniture and homeless housing.

Greenhouse Ministries is located at 309 South Spring St. in Murfreesboro.
