Special students get an opportunity to showcase their talents at the third annual Special Needs Fair.
Called “Very Special Arts” students with disabilities from Rutherford County Schools show visual and performing arts from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, March 14 at Stewartsboro Elementary School.
Parents and families of students with disabilities also have a chance to network and meet with local agencies and services.
Special Kids, Inc., Youth Can, Vanderbilt Kennedy Center, Tennessee Voices for Children and Down Syndrome Association are just a few other organizations that will be on hand for the event.
RCS will also offer free early childhood screening at Stewartsboro and Barfield Elementary Saturday, March 14.
Children ages 2 years and six months through 4 years old can be screened for vision, hearing, speech/language or learning problems.
No appointments needed.
