Release from Rutherford County Schools:
Hello parents, this is James Evans with Rutherford County Schools and I have an announcement for you concerning schools for tomorrow, Wednesday, May 5.
All Rutherford County Schools will be open and buses will run. However, buses may not be able to service some areas that are isolated because of road closures. Bus drivers will use their judgment to determine if a road is passable.
If you live in one of these areas and cannot get your children to school, those absences will be excused. Also if you have children who drive to school, please caution them about being alert to road conditions.
Again, all Rutherford County Schools will be open Wednesday but we will excuse absences for those families who cannot get their children to school because of road closures.
