All county schools will be closing two hours early today because of the severe weather that is supposed to move into our area.

Again, all county schools will be closing two hours early today. So for example, if your child attends a school that usually dismisses at 2:30 p.m., your child’s school will close at 12:30 p.m. today.

If you have any questions, please contact your child’ school or the district office.

Murfreesboro City Schools will also be closing two hours early because of expected wintry weather.

Because of pending snow, visitation with inmates at Rutherford County Adult Detention Center will close at noon Wednesday.
 
Visitation will be cancelled when county schools close because of the weather.
 
Families may reschedule visits by calling 904-3132 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. any day of the week.
