The Murfreesboro Police Department will host a R.A.D. (Rape Aggression Defense) basic physical defense class for women this summer.
The 12 hour class will be held at the Murfreesboro Police Department training facility located at 324 South Church Street beginning in July.
The R.A.D. program teaches women realistic self-defense tactics and techniques to give women the tools necessary to stop an attack. Topics include: risk awareness, risk reduction, risk avoidance, and self-defense techniques.
Participants must have a parental consent form completed if under 18.
