Quin Michael Zlotky, age 29, died Aug. 23, 2013 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was a lifelong Murfreesboro resident.
She was a 2002 Holloway High School graduate, serving as student council president, and she delivered the welcoming address for her class commencement.
In 2004, she attended and graduated from National K-9 Learning Center in Columbus, OH, becoming a fully Certified Dog Trainer. Quin was happiest training dogs and working with animals. She dearly loved her two dogs, Smidgen and Radar, and her cat “Little Girl.” She made the commitment to be an organ donor, in the spirit of helping others. We are so proud of her.
Quin is survived by her parents, Donald and Gail Sherbourn Zlotky of Murfreesboro; four sisters, Jill Brown and Lia Whitmire both of Collierville, Dana Zlotky of Port St. Lucie, Fla., and Sandy Story of Murfeesboro; two brothers, Aaron Zlotky of Murfreesboro, Justin Zlotky and his wife Meredith of Lascassas; five nephews and nieces, Callie and Jace Zlotky of Lascassas, Daniel Hovis and Anna Hooper of Port St. Lucie, Fla., and Colin Whitmire of Collierville; several aunts and cousins. Quin was greatly loved and will be desperately missed.
