Barkaroo the Middle Tennessee Dog Festival, held Saturday, Nov. 8 in Murfreesboro, is now a stop on the 2008 Purina Incredible Dog Tour.
Purina announced Barkaroo’s selection Tuesday as one of 15 stops in the nationwide tour.
During the Purina Incredible Dog Tour, the incredible Dog Team will perform acrobatic tricks, like back flips, headstands, back vaults and 15-foot, Frisbee-grabbing jumps, with its amazing freestyle routines set to music.
The team offers Barkaroo crowds a chance to see precision dog training at its best on the PetSmart/Barfield main stage.
Barkaroo is Murfreesboro’s premier dog festival, where all canines from Great Danes to Chihuahuas are invited to bring their humans for a day of dog fun.
Events include a Mutt Market, dog education, Bow-Wow stage, Canine Carnival, and the Paws-Claws & Tails Talent Show, as well as the crowning of Mr. And Mrs. Barkaroo, the Best Dressed Pooch and dog-owner look-alike contests.
