Rutherford County’s Board of Education will meet Tuesday night to discuss proposed zones for the new Buchanan middle school.

The hearing will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Buchanan Elementary School.

As laid out now BMS will house 716 students from the Buchanan, Christiana, Kittrell and Central districts.

The board of education will hold a special-called board meeting for the proposed zones for both Buchanan and Oakland Middle schools at 5 p.m. Thursday at the Central Office, 2240 Southpark Blvd.
