Law enforcement officials are asking the public for assistance in locating a 33-year-old Murfreesboro man who disappeared Friday from his Greenland Drive home.

Parchia Tolbert was last seen leaving his home at 902 Greenland Drive at 8 a.m., according to a Murfreesboro Police Department incident report.

“Tolbert is mentally handicapped and should be considered endangered,” said Kyle Evans, public information officer for the Police Department, in a press release. “He has been entered into the National Crime Information Center as a missing person.”

Operated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the National Crime Information Center is a computerized database that provides law enforcement officials from across the country information about missing persons, fugitives and stolen property.

Tolbert is described as a black male who was last seen wearing blue jeans, a blue jean jacket and black shoes.

Anyone having contact with Tolbert should call the Police Department at 615-893-1311.
