The Murfreesboro Police Department has released few details about the raid of Rhodes Construction Company, which is owned by Tony Rhodes of Murfreesboro. However, officials did confirm a criminal investigation has been underway for quite some time.

“The Criminal Investigation Division is conducting a long-term investigation into allegations of illegal activities,” said Kyle Evans, public information officer for the Police Department, in a press release. “A search warrant was recently obtained and served (yesterday) by detectives.”

Evans said the case remains an “open and ongoing criminal investigation.”

“The nature and details of the investigation are not being released at this point, as it may compromise the future of the investigation,” he said. “Specific information may be released at a later date.”
