A Berryhill, Tenn., police officer was arrested by Murfreesboro Police last week for possessing child pornography.
Robert C. White, 56, of New Salem Highway, was arrested Dec. 7 after MPD received a Department of Children's Services referral for child pornography.
Detectives Tommy Roberts and Tannas Knox allegedly discovered evidence of child pornography and White was brought in for questioning. White was subsequently charged with five counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
According to the arrest report, more charges may be filed.
White was booked into the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center. His bond was set at $500,000. He is scheduled to appear in court Jan. 15, 2013. |
