Tell the Regional Planning Commission what you really think on its new online survey.

As part of the comprehensive land-use plan, Parsons Brickerhoff want the public to voice its concerns about development in Rutherford County. The survey can be found at www.rutherfordcountytn.gov/planning/planning_survey.

The survey is nine open-ended questions about managing growth in the past and future. All responses are completely anonymous.

A community blog will also be posted in the coming days, Assistant Planning Director Elizabeth Emslie said.

The public will be able to post comments and concerns about the planning process and the comprehensive plan.

For those out in the Rutherford County community, Parsons Brinkerhoff will be holding a series of focus groups and a community-wide meeting in the near future.

The comprehensive plan will become the policy foundation for all future planning in the unincorporated areas of Rutherford County.

After the plan is developed, the county will then begin reformulating its zoning code and subdivision regulations.
