Philip Edward Haynes, age 67, of Hermitage, passed away on Nov. 11, 2012 at his residence.
He was born in Jellico, Tenn., but currently resided in Davidson County. Phil was a member of the Baptist Church and served in Vietnam with the United States Army as a Medical Corpsman. After discharge from the Army he joined the National Guard. He worked as an Anesthesia Coordinator for HCA Southern Hills Medical Center.
Phil was preceded by his mother; Isabelle Moore Haynes; and brother, Sam Haynes. He is survived by his father, Rev. Clifford Haynes of Morristown, Tenn.; wife, Debbie Haynes of Hermitage; daughters, Kris Ann Hawkins of Morristown, Tenn., and Niki Lephew of Russellville, Tenn.; brother, David Haynes of Georgia; nephews, Samuel Thompson, David Haynes and John Haynes; grandchildren, Clint Lephew, Reagan Hawkins and Haynes Hawkins; and the mother of his children, Dorothy Haynes of Morristown, Tenn.
Chapel service will be held at Jennings and Ayers Chapel on Friday, Nov. 16, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. with Darryl Whaley officiating. Interment will follow at Bradley’s Creek Cemetery with family and friends serving as active pallbearers.
