Peggy Sue Swann, age 80, of Smyrna, died Saturday June 16, 2012. She was a native of Gadsden Alabama, and was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Edward Swann, a grandson, Mike Johnson, her parents, Coleman and Beatrice Helton Conner, and sisters, Margaret Gibson, and Ruth Wilcox. Mrs. Swann was a member of Stones River Baptist Church and a retired manager at Alvan in LaVergne.
She is survived by her sons; Wayne Swann of Smyrna and Donny Swann and his wife Judy of Murfreesboro; brothers, James Conner of Georgia, and Edward Conner of Alabama; grandchildren; Stephanie Deese, Angela Hayes, Joshua Deese all of LaVergne and Carol Davis of Woodbury; 18 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 1:00PM Wednesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Dr. G. Ross Maroney, Sr. offiating. Burial will follow in Mapleview Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00PM to 8:00PM Tuesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna 615-459-3254 www.woodfinchapel.com |
