PEARL ELIZABETH SMOTHERMAN VAUGHN, age 83 of Smyrna died Sunday March 7, 2010. She was a native of Rutherford County and was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Vaughn, and her parents, Leonard and Ethel Pope Smotherman; sisters, Beulah Bryant, Frances Hibdon, and Ruby Langford; brother, J.W. Smotherman. She was a member of the Stewarts Creek Church of Christ and a devoted wife and mother.
She is survived by her children, Kenneth (Dolores) Barrett, Michael (Twyla) Barrett both of Murfreesboro, Richard E. (Margie) Vaughn of Franklin, Patsy C. Barrett of Smyrna; sister, Mildred (Bobby) Eaton of Murfreesboro; seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jeff, Jason, Chris, and Dylan Barrett, Anthony Smith, Jason Hendrix, Keith and Kerry Vaughn,
Funeral service will be 2:00PM Wednesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Greg Vick officiating. Burial will follow at Nolensville Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00PM to 8:00PM Tuesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna 459-3254 www.woodfinchapel.com
