PBS examines end-of-life care in mid-state

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – “A Place Called Alive,” a documentary film that takes an intimate look at the work of hospice care in Middle Tennessee, will be broadcast on tonight, Friday, Feb. 26 at 7 p.m. on Nashville Public Television (NPT-Channel 8).

This one-hour film, which was produced by the Baptist Healing Trust, tells the stories of seven terminally ill patients, their families and their Alive Hospice caregivers.

Alive Hospice provides compassionate end-of-life care and bereavement support in 12 Middle Tennessee counties, including Rutherford County. The agency’s Murfreesboro office is located on Medical Center Parkway.
