Rutherford County Pet Adoption and Welfare Services is seeking the public’s assistance to adopt several cats that have been confiscated.
The cats have been under the care of the shelter for several months and were recently surrendered by their previous owner. These cats will be availableFriday and Saturday at PAWS facility, located at 285 John R. Rice Blvd.
“These cats came from far less than ideal conditions and deserve a second chance on life. We desperately need the public’s help in placing these cats in forever homes. We invite everyone to come to the shelter on Feb. 22-23” said Michael Gregory, Rutherford County PAWS director. Potential adopters will be screened using the shelter’s standard adoption procedure.
All of the cats available will have an adoption fee of $50 that includes spay or neuter surgery, rabies vaccination, feline distemper vaccination and a feline leukemia test.
“Our adoptions are such a great value considering all that is included,” Gregory added
Rutherford County PAWS adoption hours are Monday-Friday, noon-5:30 p.m. and Saturdays 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
