Paul Madison Frame, 82, passed away Aug. 29, 2011 at Baptist Hospital in Nashville, Tenn.

He was a native of Lincoln County, Tennessee. He served in the United States Air Force for 10 years. When he retired from the Air Force, Paul and his wife Mary made Murfreesboro their home. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary L. Frame, parents, Arthur and Mary Buelah Frame; Sisters Marie Ippolito of Oakland, Ca. and Mildred Blaylock of Fayetteville, Tenn.; brothers J.T. Frame of Smyrna, Tenn. and Tommy Frame of Fayetteville, Tenn. He is survived by his daughter, Sheila Tilford. Dear Companion of 18 years, Flora Mae "Tootie" Lawson; Sister Nellie Prante and brother Ray Frame all of Fayetteville, Tenn.; Grandchildren Jenny Tilford of Durham, N.C.; John D. Tilford of Sewanee, Tenn.; and Robert William Paul (Maria) of Columbia, S.C. His extended family Connie (Joe) Katimi, Matthew (Peggie) Johnson, Carly (Devin Chloe, and Kylie) Spence, Cayla(Avontae, and Kendra) Collier. He enjoyed playing cards with his good friends Ray and Susanne Tenpenny, and Arthur and Betty Upchurch. He was a cook at the VA Hospital for 20 years, and he worked for Murfreesboro City Schools for 10 years. He was a member of Walter Hill Church of Christ.

Visitation with the family will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2011 at Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home. A chapel service will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Jennings & Ayers with Morgan Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Friends will serve as active pallbearers.
