Patricia Dean Mathis passed away on February 8, 2010 at Stones River Medical Center. She was a native and lifelong resident of Rutherford County. She worked at Barfield Elementary Cafeteria.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer Herman Sr. and Maggie Herman; daughter, Patty Ann Mathis; brother, Elmer Herman Jr; and sister, Virginia Herman. She is survived by her husband, Mylan Mathis of Readyville, TN; daughter, Melissa (William) McGill of Christiana, TN; brother, Buford (Gloria) Herman of Christiana, TN; sister-in-law, Darnelle Herman; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 8:30 until 10:30 Friday at Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home. A graveside service will be 11:00 Friday at Evergreen Cemetery. Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home, 820 South Church St., Murfreesboro, TN 37130. 615-893-2422.
