Patricia Ann O’Brien, age 72, went to be with the Lord on February 8, 2014 at Adams Place Healthcare. She was a native of Rutherford County, but has lived in Cannon County for the past few years.. Patricia worked in the medical field all of her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Charles Sam Parker and Virginia Parker, husband, Doyle O’Brien, and brother, Charles Sam Parker Jr. She is survived by her sons; Joey (Jaclyn) King, Greg King, Chris (Sharron) King, daughter, Melanie and (Paul) McFarlin, and grandchildren; Matthew (Jessica) King, Ryan (Amy) King, Braxton McFarlin, Tanner King, Brailey McFarlin, Brianna King, Carissa King, Josh Pack, and Braden Costley. Also survived by special friends are Jenny Chaffin, George and Madeline Sanders, special nurses and friends of Adams Place and St. Thomas West.
Visitation will be from 3:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Monday, February 10, 2014 and also from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. Tuesday at Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home. A chapel service will be 12:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 11, 2014 at Jennings & Ayers with Herb Alsup and Mike Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow at Coleman Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Matthew King, Tanner King, Braxton McFarlin, Leland Webb, Ryan King and Paul McFarlin. Honorary pallbearers will be Charlie Newcom, Tommy Chaffin, and George Sanders.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Alive Hospice or Caris Hospice of Murfreesboro.
