Opha Fay Reed Jones, of Auburntown, died Saturday, March 2, 2013, at Woodbury Nursing Center.

Born in Cannon County, Jones in survived by daughter and son-in-law Elaine & Jimmy Mingle of Auburntown; grandchildren Brent (Cheri) Griffith, Holly (Johnny) McCrary and Brooke (Cory) Harrell; eight great-grandchildren Tommy Griffith, Bethany Griffith, Hannah, Caitlyn, Dawson and Christian McCrary, Oakley Fisher, Easton Harrell.

Jones was preceded in death by her parents, William P. Reed & Novella Williams Reed and her husband, Thomas Earl Jones, four Sisters and five brothers.
 
A member of the Auburn Baptist Church, she was a nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital, Rutherford Co. Hospital and NHC Nursing Home.
 
Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 4 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with interment in Odom Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 10:30 Monday morning until the funeral at 2 p.m.
