Today through Sunday, Newton and others will be gathering all remaining cards and pennies for postage to send the cards to “wounded warriors” in Brooks Army Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. Sunday at 2 p.m., Newton’s service project organization will be involved in the annual Murfreesboro Christmas parade.

The executive aide in the College of Basic and Applied Sciences says parade goers should look for a Dodge Ram with a Christmas tree with a large yellow ribbon around it and a red, white and blue star, plus an Operation Christmas Care banner on the front.
