Only one major road construction project is set in Rutherford County next week by the Tennessee Department of Transportation.

I-24 from SR96 to SR10 (Rutherford County) (Rogers Group)
· Monday March 26 through Friday March 30, 8PM-5AM, (each night), The left lane of I-24 eastbound will be closed from SR 96 to SR 10 for demolition of SR 99 overpass. One lane will remain open.

Motorists are advised about the other following road projects:

Through Monday March 26, 6AM, The I-440 westbound ramp to I-65 southbound will be closed in order to remove and replace concrete slabs. Detours will be in place.

Through Monday March 26, 6AM, The two left lanes of I-40 westbound and one lane of I-40 eastbound from 46th Ave to I-440 will be closed in order to perform work on DMS median footings. Two lanes will remain open.

Through Monday March 26, 6AM, The two left lanes of I-40 westbound and one lane of I-40 eastbound from 28th Ave to Jefferson St. will be closed in order to perform work on DMS median footings. Two lanes will remain open on I-40 eastbound and one lane will remain open on I-40 westbound.

Wednesday March 21 through Sunday March 25, 8PM-5AM, each night, (Friday March 23, 9PM-5AM), Traffic on I-40 eastbound and westbound will be detoured at Beckwith Rd. Traffic will utilize the on and off ramps to detour around bridge beam setting at the new Beckwith Rd. interchange.

Monday March 26 through Thursday March 29, 8PM-5AM, each night, and Friday March 30, 9PM-5AM, Traffic on I-40 eastbound and westbound will be detoured at Beckwith Rd. Traffic will utilize the on and off ramps to detour around bridge beam setting at the new Beckwith Rd. interchange.


I-65 at McEwen Drive-Williamson Co. (Rogers Group)
· Thursday March 22 through Wednesday March 28, 9AM-3PM, There will be one lane of I-65 northbound and southbound closed from Cool Springs Blvd. to SR 96 in order for the contractor to perform shoulder work. There will be three lanes open at all times.

I-65 North Corridor (ITS) (Mastec)
· Thursday March 22 through Wednesday March 28, 9AM-4PM, There will be periodic shoulder closures at various locations in Davidson County in order to install and perform maintenance on DMS equipment.

Bridge Repair on I-40 over Jefferson St. and on I-65 over ramp (Mid-State Construction)
· Thursday March 22 through Wednesday March 28, 7PM-6AM (excluding Sunday), There will be temporary lane closures on I-65 southbound under the bridge in order to remove the old bridge deck. One lane will remain open.

I-24 Bridge work over Murfreesboro Rd. (Dement Construction)
· Thursday March 22, between 7PM and 5AM the following morning, the contractor will be closing one lane of Murfreesboro Road Eastbound and Westbound at I-24 for bridge painting. One lane in each direction will remain open.
· Friday March 23 at 7PM through Monday March 26 at 5AM (continuous activity), the contractor will be closing one lane of Murfreesboro Road Eastbound and Westbound at I-24 for bridge painting. One lane in each direction will remain open.
· Monday March 26, between 8PM and 5AM the following morning, the contractor will be closing one lane of the I-40 Westbound Ramp to I-24 Eastbound between Spence Lane and I-440 to install pavement markings and concrete barrier rail for a traffic shift. One lane will remain open.
· Monday March 26 through Wednesday March 28, between 7PM and 5AM the following morning, the contractor will be closing one lane of Murfreesboro Road Eastbound and Westbound at I-24 for bridge painting. One lane in each direction will remain open.

Nashville Smartway (Phase 2) (Stansell Electric)
· Thursday March 22 through Wednesday March 28, 9AM-3PM, There will be periodic shoulder closures at various locations in Davidson and Sumner Counties.
· Thursday March 22 through Wednesday March 28, 8PM to 6AM, (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures on I-440 eastbound and westbound in order to install guardrail. Two lanes will remain open.
· Friday March 23, 8PM through Monday March 26, 6AM, The two left lanes of I-40 westbound and one lane of I-40 eastbound from 46th Ave to I-440 will be closed in order to perform work on DMS median footings. Two lanes will remain open.
· Friday March 23, 8PM through Monday March 26, 6AM, The two left lanes of I-40 westbound and one lane of I-40 eastbound from 28th Ave to Jefferson St. will be closed in order to perform work on DMS median footings. Two lanes will remain open on I-40 eastbound and one lane will remain open on I-40 westbound.
· Saturday March 24, 7AM-4PM, There will be one right lane closed on I-440 eastbound from the I-440 / I-65 junction to the Bransford Ave overpass. Two lanes are to remain open.
· Tuesday March 27, 8PM through Wednesday March 28, 6AM, One lane of I-440 westbound will be closed for median uprights to be set then will change to single right lane closures for outside uprights. Two lanes will remain open.
· Tuesday March 27, 8PM through Wednesday March 28, 6AM, One left lane of I-440 eastbound will be closed for median uprights to be set then will change to single right lane closures for outside uprights. Two lanes will remain open.
· Tuesday March 27, 8PM through Wednesday March 28, 6AM One left lane of I-65 northbound will be closed for median uprights to be set then will change to single right lane closures for outside uprights. Three lanes will remain open.
· Wednesday March 28, 8PM through Thursday March 29, 6AM, One lane of I-440 eastbound from Nolensville Rd to I-24 will be closed in order to hang DMS structure. One lane will remain open. Rolling Road blocks will occur periodically from 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM.
· Wednesday March 28, 8PM through Thursday March 29, 6AM, Two lanes of I-440 westbound from Acklen Park Dr to the Charlotte Ave overpass will be closed to hang DMS structures & signs. One lane will remain open. Rolling Road blocks will occur periodically from 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM.
· Wednesday March 28, 8PM through Thursday March 29, 6AM, Two lanes of I-440 eastbound from Brightwood Ave to the Granny White Pike overpass will be closed to hang DMS structures & signs. One lane will remain open. Rolling Road blocks will occur periodically from 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM.
· Wednesday March 28, 8PM through Thursday March 29, 6AM, Two right lanes of I-65 northbound starting approximately 2000 ft north of Harding Place Off Ramp will be closed in order to work on DMS structures & signs. Two lanes will remain open. Rolling Road blocks will occur periodically from 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM.

Concrete Repair on I-440 (Lojac)
· Thursday March 22, 8PM-6AM, There will one lane closed on the I-440 westbound ramp to I-65 southbound in order to saw concrete slabs. One lane will remain open.
· Friday March 23, 12 midnight through Monday March 26, 6AM, The I-440 westbound ramp to I-65 southbound will be closed in order to remove and replace concrete slabs. Detours will be in place.



Motorists are encouraged to use caution and obey reduced speed limits in all TDOT work zones, regardless of lane closure activity.
