why not adopt the state standards instead of rewriting new ones. hopefully they are good enough for state legislators they should be good enough for local standards.
Unless you are going to make them tighter, you should adopt the new standards.
The DNJ had alot better coverage on the retreat. Sorry guys

Proposed police precinct in Blackman area
Murfreesboro Police Chief Glenn Chrisman proposed the creation of a freestanding police precinct in the Blackman area to provide extra space for staff, decentralize selected personnel and operations and assist with deliver of services to southwestern portion of Murfreesboro.
Why not have police work out of the existing city and volunteer fire halls. Space is already there and there would be little cost.

Has Murfreesboro EVER added sewer to annexed neighborhoods that have septic systems? Please tell me where.
There are properties that have been in Murfreesboro for 30+ years that are still on septic. There are also neighborhoods in Murfreesboro that will never get curbs and gutters. What is Bratcher talking about?

This is why the council should be comprised of district elections rather than the current "beauty contest."
Bratcher, Aydellott and others can't see the trees for the forest. They can't control nor improve the lifestyle of current residents and want to impose that lifestyle on others. Why? TAX REVENUES! Simply, follow the money.
